We think the entire booking procedure needs to be looked at.
When we first considered a stay at Rowntree (for the Christmas market) all pitches were booked up for the dates we wanted.
Surprisingly when we looked a few days later, some dates had appeared, so we amended our plans and booked Tuesday and Wednesday as they were only two nights in a row (we really wanted three nights).
We looked the other day and the Monday was now free, but on an awning pitch (Tuesday and Wednesday and on a non-awning pitch) so we booked Monday.
We believe that the ability for bookings to be cancelled at only 72 hours notice with no repercussions is leading to selfish members booking "just in case" they want a pitch.
