First visit for 5 years, as good now as it was then. Being close to the city centre the last few miles are on busy roads with lots of junctions, bus/cycle lanes bollards etc. First timers would be recommended to virtually drive the approach on google earth or similar. Some pitches on the tight side, especially length. Our 7.5m van just fitted. Toilets shut from 10.00 for 2 hours and a maximum of 4 in each block meant some earlier morning showers to beat the queues. Excellent location for the centre of York, with everything a 15 to 20 minute walk away. Highly recommended for a mini break.
