Well we have tried for a long time to get a booking on this site and I have to say that we don’t know what all of the fuss is about. The majority of pitches are very cramped with no break between pitches. If you like a concrete jungle with no greenery around your Caravan then this is the site for you. Our pitch was at the top of the site, The pitch was so tight we were instructed on check in to park our car on the door side which we did, only to be told by another warden that we couldn’t leave it there and we had to park across the front of our Caravan, a first for us on CCC site ! The location to York is good but that’s about it in terms of good points. The facilities on the site were well managed and clean.
