We had a lovely midweek stay here, Wednesday and Thursday nights. It gave us great access into the city, despite the flood defence work going on. We used both routes into the city, and enjoyed a walk along the row of shops from the Vine Street exit. We will be back at least twice more this year. Access to site is currently awkward, but that is due to the flood defence work, so is a necessary evil. Provided you arrive after 1 and leave before 11.30, the single track road is negotiable with care. However, workforce and taxis, and Rowntree Park Car Park users will be using the road both ways at all times.
