After having to make 3 separate booking to ensure we could get 4 days in York we got to the site via diversions and were quickly booked in and got a very nice pitch in the sun Site is fabulous for its location in the city centre and most of the must do visitor attractions are all walkable We did a river cruise/Railway Museum and a visit to Yorkshire regimental museum Castle tour did not happen as we had not booked on line and large numbers of people waiting put us off Lots of nice bars/restaurants close to the campsite and all types of takeaway can be delivered When we left we discovered the barrier fob was still in the van (apologies) and had to be posted to club site Lots of geese flying over the site and they look fabulous but make a lot of noise if you are a light sleeper
