David, I agree about the price of pitches on club sites, one can visit many sites across Europe which are much less expensive. In 2021 for instance I paid £700 for 3 weeks at Moreton in Marsh. 2022 & 2023 I paid £500 for a month in France, and site's include restaurant and bar. It is a massive rip off in the UK, I've been a member for 30+ years and the stupid rules have always been an issue for me on CC sites. I don't think the club has lost its direction, its direction has always been one of idiocy the difference is - like many/most other companies they're trying to replenish their coffers after losses during Covid. As for updating sites there has been some "improvement", Chirk for instance - I haven't been yet but reports aren't favourable - maybe Wirral site could be next for an update. Prices may be on the kind of hateful supply and demand type because there are variations in prices and therefore not everything is equal or fair. The club needs to perhaps drag intself into the 21stC.
