I have just returned from a 6 day visit to the Wirral Club Site. The site staff are most helpful and are working tirelessly to keep the site Covid safe. I am very unsure what "packed in like sardines" means. The site has very spacious pitches, some of the largest I have come across. With regards to sea views the site information says that some pitches overlook the Estuary and I can confirm that it can be seen from more than half of them. There are wonderful opportunities for walking or cycling along adjacent, flat, traffic free paths which start at the site entrance. A visit along the footpath to the nearby Visitor Centre is worthwhile and gives access to the beach and only takes about 10 minutes.
