Packed like sardines in a tin !

I have to say that I was most disappointed with this site. It is described as having sea views, however they do not tell you that only approximately 4 of the pitches have that view. The rest of you are packed in like sardines ! The site has no access to the beach , you need to take a 10 minute walk down a road with no footpaths ( not good if you have young children). I have been to many Caravan Sites and never have I seen so many people crammed in such a tiny place. It also backs onto a road that the local lads use to race their cars up and down.

You must know some incredibly large sardines, I thought the pitches were very well spaced out. Also the site has some wonderful views across the estuary. No reference is made to direct access to the beach directly from the site so you cannot whinge about that.

Regarding walking  to the beach I suggest you buy a map or ask the site managers. The Wirral Way cycle track is directly opposite the site entrance, from which the 'beach' (bearing in mind this is a tidal estuary) can easily be reached without walking on more than a few metres of road.

Can I please have the names of the sites you have visited that have larger pitch spaces than this one; I really want to go there.

Having camped (In a tent) for over 40 years both in the UK and in Europe; we have been on some VERY cramped campsites (especially in Spain). The pitches here are not only very well spaced between each unit, they are also 'blocked' in such a way that you have privacy and don't feel overlooked. There areas of grass around the site separating the 'blocks' and safe for children (and rabbits) to play on.

Yes, 4 of the pitches have full views of the sea (though they also get the full impact of the 'weather'), but there are a number of other pitches that get partial views, and all of the pitches are in sight of the sea if you venture away from your pitch - just a few metres in a lot of cases.

Out of the site and across the (small) road/lane you are on the Wirral way; No cars, safe for walking and cycling; turn left for the beach and West Kirby, turn right for Heswall and Parkgate.

Given the number of speed bumps along the road, I'm not sure how much 'speeding' can be done along the road - though I'm sure some do try it.
