We booked this site at the last minute and stayed Fri & Saturday 25th & 26th June - although it was only a short break it felt like we had had a weeks holiday as loved it so much. We had pitch 60 which was perfectly positioned for our granddaughter to enjoy the park independently whilst we could watch her and enjoy the lovely weather. The Wirral Way is a great traffic free cycle or walking route - we rode to Parkgate and enjoyed ice creams. The beach is a few minutes walk from the site and is great. Views over the Dee Estuary are fabulous. We will definitely be returning to this site - thank you Val & Harry for the lovely warm welcome and allowing us to stay on the pitch for an extra 2 hours on our departure day - it really made a huge difference to us. Will be looking at booking a pitch when the British Open Golf returns to Hoylake in 2023 but will be back before.
