Stayed here for 5 nights beginning of August. We thought the set out of the site was lovely, with plenty of grass around the hard standings. Didn't look like a car park as some CC sites look - in straight lines etc. Some fabulous views from parts of the site. We preferred to be behind trees, for a bit of shelter from the coastal breezes. Warden very welcoming and helpful. Loo and shower facilities kept very clean, but they are in dire need of refurbishment. Appears to be the original loo block that has been tarted up with new doors and cubicles. It is the floor tiling that needs to be replaced. One of the shower tiles had a wide crack that I thought was a leaf lying on the floor. I feel that the rebranding budget would have been far better used on refurbishment as that would have been of benefit to all members. Visited Liverpool, Port Sunlight, and had several long walks on the huge beaches. We especially loved the walk across the sand to Hilbre Island -wow! We will certainly return.
