We stayed here during the October Half Term. Good to see the wardens organize Halloween allowing the youngsters to do "Trick or Treat" but, at the same time, they devised a system for caravaners to opt out (if it didn't have a balloon tied to the motorhome or caravan then it should be left alone). This worked really well and virtually everyone played along. The site is next to the Wirral Way and provides excellent safe walks or cycle rides for adults and children alike. The walk to West Kirby was lovely in the early Autumn morning. Liverpool City Centre is 30 mins away by train if you don't want to drive in. Lots of other places to visit nearby including Cheshire Oaks if you really can't do without shopping. For those who want a nice walk, nearby Thurstaston Common is lovely (couple of miles away).
