We have stayed at this site many times over our 40+ years of caravanning and have been aware of the need to update the facilities. We understood why it took so long, but the results are well worth the wait. But, having spent 1 night there on 12/9/22 I pitched on the upper site which is all grass. I was shocked by the state of the ground. It had been left in a very rough state and was even difficult to walk on it was that rough! I was surprised that The Club accepted it in this condition at the end of the development. I do accept that there was a deadline for the full opening of the site, but in recognition of the poor state of the ground I would have thought a small discount would have been in order. Over £30 to stay on a sparsely grassed harrowed field was a bit much!
