Nice place, slightly strange rules
Stayed for a week. Nice enough site, even though a slightly windy location.
Found out when pitching and unpacking that there were no ball games allowed on site at all (much to the disappointment of my well behaved 8 year old and his plastic ball). Even though there were no caravans behind us he still couldn't run around dribbling his football on the empty grass.
Key entry to the facilities was slightly frustrating. I understand locking them when there's a local festival or something similar, but not needed when it's a normal quiet week.
Bins not split for recycling. Everything sorted off site, but it's become human nature for people to try and separate cans/boxes/glass as soon as it's finished with, so it feels wrong throwing it all in the same bin with all the other non recyclable waste.
The entire toilet/shower block gets closed at 10:30 for 2 hours for cleaning. Most places close the men's and ladies separately and are back open after an hour.
Wouldn't rush back, not because of the site, but the area as a whole is disappointing. Traffic on narrow roads, ignorate drivers and extortionate parking charges have put me off a return visit.
