We have been visiting Willingcott Site for many years. Probably over 15 visits. We have to visit this place each year (sometimes 4 times) to replenish our batteries in the heart of the most beautiful coastal walks and scenery in the country. Other neighbouring coastal towns (Croyde, Mortehoe, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe) are easily reached by foot. Our Dogs love every minute too. Not only great coastal walks for the active but also the amazing long beach at Woolacombe, that is Dog friendly all year round and is so big you can enjoy solitude with your pets. Who can swim and run freely further along from the main hub of the beach. To escape the masses, I recommend parking at Marine Drive and dropping straight down onto the beach. The Team/Staff at Willingcott are so lovely and welcome us back like old friends. Facilities always spotless. Quiet and relaxing for all to enjoy. Playpark for the kids to make holiday friends and enjoy the outdoors, ditching the tv or online games. Come here and enjoy! ...… BUT PLEASE LEAVE A PITCH FOR US :)
