Stayed here for 10 days this May. Site is easy to access and on arrival the wardens were very friendly and allowed us to pick our pitch. Site is 2.5 Mls from Woolacombe and 5 Mls from Illfracombe. The walk to Woolacombe is over fields and is a great walk but can be challenging with many stiles and is quite steep coming back. Walk to Illfracombe is on paved old railway track and more straightforward but again steep on return. The site facilities are fantastic and are kept spotless. The site has lots of grass and if you don't like the sound of lawn mowers its maybe not for you. The wardens never stop working to keep this sight pristine. There's lots of great pubs and places within easy driving distance. In 10 days we didn't manage to see it all so we will definitely be back. Oh one final thing it tends to be windy so if you have an air awning like we do take strong pegs and storm ties.
