Excellent Site
A clean well run site with first class facilities and an excellent team of wardens. Access to the site on the last 300 yards of road is tight, but all users are familiar with the difficulties and ensure traffic flows. The local pub was (for us) a dead loss, a typical british "carvery" establishment - we could not recommend. The site is relatively isolated and requires use of a car (or a hardy cyclist) to visit anywhere - though most places are a relatively short distance. It is also fairly exposed, great when the sun shines but make sure you have your steel pegs and storm lashing with you. We enjoyed our visit for the second week of July, with the added advantage of good weather. WiFi access is hopeless - the warden stated it was due to excessive demand on the non-fibre link to the exchanged, but I tried a couple of times in the early hours and it was still hopeless. I suspect the problems are more likely due to the clubs access software.
