Just spend the Easter Weekend on the site with friends in our motorhomes, weather wasn't great this year but we still had great fun.  You can cycle down to Croyde but it is a climb coming back to the site. We had to walk the steep bit after Georgeham on the way back.  Visited both local pubs, wouldn't rate the Fortesque, the Mill is much nicer. If you exit the site through the back gate you turn right for Fortesque, and left for the Mill.  Probably better going to the Mill at lunch time as you have to walk along the to road to Georgeham then turn right down to the Mill.  The staff Ray, Kevin and their wives were very nice, helpful and polite.  My wife was so pleased when she realised she could order a paper, especially on Sunday.  The site is open but has all the nice things you expect of a CC site. Well done guys for keeping up the standard.
