We had three nights here, unfortunately the weather was mostly dreadful for May. The site itself is great with a handy gate onto the very pleasant cycle path/ footpath to Ilfracombe. There are also footpaths to Woolacombe with a little road walking too. We tend to leave our motorhome on site but there was parking in Woolacombe if needed. We walked and used local buses or taxis - dog friendly. Bus and taxi drivers were most helpful. Unfortunately, buses do not run after 6pm , not at all on Sundays. The Tides Inn was excellent for an evening meal, and the Beachcomber provided an excellent lunch. Both dog friendly. Plenty of suitable cycling in the area. We would like to come again...in better weather we hope!
