I would like to start by saying that the site is lovely, the wardens very pleasant and the facilities spotless. However the campers of today don’t seem to like caravan club rules. On arrival we were met by a lovely warden who explained everything very clearly, including where the Motorhome service point was. Despite notices on the various water points asking motorhomes not to fill up there but to use the service point we saw numerous campers with their hosepipes connected, merrily filling up their tanks. 5mph is the limit on sites, very few campers adhered to that, especially the 1 o’clockers who seemed to think that it was a race to find your pitch. Dogs in the toilet block, yes you read that correctly and no they were not guide dogs. When did that become acceptable? These are gripes that to be honest could have come from any caravan club sites lately. Saying all that we had a lovely time, a beautiful walk into Grassington and a fantastic meal at the gamekeers inn. toilet block
