First of all the campsite is lovely and the wardens are great. Facilities are the usual CAMC standard and there is an “onsite” pub on the attached caravan park which is also great. Nice dog walk and cut through to Thresh field where there is another pub and a petrol station which has a really good Spar attached. I’m not a fan of the current Club ethos of parking anyway you want on the pitch as long as you’re between the posts. You can end up with habitation doors facing -which is even worse if you have an awning. Not this sites fault tho ! Also where we pitched was close to the shower block. We had an endless stream of fellow campers walking across our pitch because it cut 30 metres off walking around on the road. What ever happened to enforcing the clubs rule 3F-having respect for other campers pitches! Just plain rude. Again not this sites fault more of a CAMC issue. As mentioned before the wardens are great and need to be given credit for their prompt actions when a medical emergency happened during our stay. We will return but I will endeavour to go well away from the facilities bock!
