Beautiful site with very friendly staff. Extremely clean facilities and plenty to go round even at busy times. Last bit of the approach road was a bit like whacky races, so take it steady - especially in a larger outfit. This was our first time on a club site and unfortunately there were too many dogs for our own dog's liking and think we are better suited to CL sites. This is absolutely NO reflection on the quality of the site whatsoever - just we have 'special' dogs!! Lots of walks locally, but no good with a reactive dog, so you'll have to drive further afield to find quieter walks. A very peaceful site for it's size. Loved hearing hooting owls whilst going to sleep. Very handy spar shop a couple of minute's drive away that has a very good selection for its size. We didn't try any of the local eating places but there were plenty to choose from. If we didn't have a reactive dog, we would be back for sure.
