We'll be back!
Our first visit to this site but it won't be our last. It's a lovely site in beautiful surroundings and if you like walking (as we do), you couldn't find yourself in a better place. We only stayed for the weekend (late Friday afternoon until Sunday morning) but managed to fit in an 11 mile circular walk to Malham Cove and Tarn on the Saturday which we (and our little dog) loved. Pitches aren't the most level you'll find and the toilet blocks, though spotless (as usual) are in need of a bit of a refurb. The Gamekeepers Inn in the adjacent leisure village sells an interesting range of beers. Can't comment on the food as we never ate there but it's Tripadvisor ratings are good. We're familiar with Grassington and paid it a brief visit late on Saturday afternoon. Even though it was close to closing time, this ever-popular village was still very busy and as most of the pubs don't start serving food until 6pm, we bought ourselves a meal to cook back at our caravan, leaving Grassington to the tourists.
