Although my husband and I only live a few miles down the road, this was our 'maiden voyage' with our new caravan. It's a lot bigger than the old one and we wanted a trial run before we start in earnest! The area is gorgeous and we had a smashing walk on the Saturday.  The site is beautifully maintained and the wardens could not be more helpful. We were up at the far end of the site, which possibly had a bit more of a country feel to it. All the pitches were large and really we could not fault anything. It's worth mentioning that the adjoining static site has a fab pub and restaurant. We had a lovely meal and found the prices to be very reasonable.  Even though it's on our doorstep, we will return.
