Arrived today and I have to admit, I was filled with trepidation after the reviews as I was expecting to be pitched up in a car park with no WIFI or TV reception which could have been an issue as I was taking a few days out without my wife as she was working so though i was in for a few nights staring at the stars. I arrived early (13:10) and had booked a hard standing without awning pitch which after a very swift entry process and polite service, was told any pitch with a blue square, expecting them all to be in the tarmac area mentioned in previous reviews. There were quite a few blue pitches scattered around the site and I managed to secure a great well spaced pitch on gravel away from the race course. After playing around with the aerial I managed to pick up all the main tv channels by pointing it west so suggest getting your compass app out in your phone. Agreed, there isn't WiFi but I had a really good phone signal so was also able to stream Netflix etc. The site is small but well maintained and remarkably quiet being so central to Warwick. Loads of bars and restaurants with 10 mims walk and a fantastic dog walk area on your door step behind the site although the site didn’t have its own dog walking facilities. No facilities for kids and it did feel more like an adults only site with no play areas so something to be aware of. A great site but I would suggest getting here early to get a good pitch as I doubt I would have enjoyed staying in the tarmac area.
