Great little site
We have to agree with the last few reviews - a great little site with very welcoming wardens, spotless facilities and an easy walk into Warwick following helpful advice from the wardens. Ideal for the dogs on the common. If you walk in via the Lord Lycester Hospital (not a hospital but a home for ex serviceman) and you have dogs you cannot go in the cafe, but if you go down the side road and through the car park you can sit in the knot garden with the dogs and we were able to have coffee (and bacon sandwiches - not normally on the menu, but they did them and very good too) in the lovely little garden sitting in the sun. There is a charge to go round the building or into the warden's garden. Warwick is very walkable and there is a small social history museum and regimental museum at St John's (free but ask for donations) and the Sheldon Tapestry of Warwickshire at the County Museum in the market place. We went to the Rose and Crown (also on the market place by the Randolph Turpin statue) as they allowed dogs inside - not cheap but good food.
