Managed a short break at this site between the two "Beasts from the east" in March.
I was thankful for the hard standings being slightly sloping, efficiently shedding the rain.
The very friendly wardens answered all my queries with good grace.
A short walk took us to the fascinating centre of Warwick and the bus station.
The only very mild niggle was the aircraft noise to/from Birmingham airport.
Great site for a peaceful break not to far away from it all!
one night stop.
One night on the way to Baltic Wharf.
Choice of pitch which is always a good thing.
Level and short lead by fence so always people and dogs walking past.
No drain by motorhome point so road wet.
Toilet block basic and cold.
10min walk up hill into town for a wander, good wetherspoons for coffee and watch the world go by.
A bit to basic for longer stay.
Great location and good for dogs
Nice position adjacent to the race track (we were right on the finish line). A walk into the city and castle in very close proximity. Lots of off lead dog walking direct from site.
Not the prettiest site but made up for with convenience and a great stopover from south coast heading north (pretty good the other way too).
Quiet but not private as there are public walks along the boundary and a low fence that would cause me concern leaving stuff in the awning.

Great Location / Friendly Helpful Staff
Site is in a fabulous location, within centre grounds of racecourse, with easy walking access into lovely historic Warwick. Both M&S and Sainsbury's are within a ten minute easy walk from the site.
The wardens are very friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Site facilities are spotless clean although looking a bit tired, perhaps could do with a revamp (understand difficultly re being open all year).
Suggest that the site would benefit from more hard standing pitches.
Great dog walking opportunities close to site, more limited on race days.
Looking forward to returning.
Warwick Racecourse site
Friendly and helpful staff
Amenities kept clean but could do with some updating, easy walk into Warwick centre great for dog owners
Will definitely return
Great location for visit to Warwick
As a town site this is really interesting - you walk across the racecourse to get to the campsite! It's only a few minutes walk into the town and to Warwick Castle. We stayed two night, mid-week. We have a large motorhome and had booked hard-standing. We were put at the far end and it felt very much like staying in a car park (which it is), with a chilly walk to the facilities (misty November). The following morning a pitch became available on some gravel pitches, with grass and trees around, and near the shower block. The warden allowed us to move, and I must say our stay was much more pleasant as a result. The tarmac pitches are perfectly functional but not attractive.
The showers are a little dated but again functional, and the facilities were kept very clean.
There is some background traffic noise but you're not in the countryside here, so nothing too extreme.
The warden was very helpful, especially with information on arrival.
We really enjoyed our couple of days here.

Great site
Enjoyed my stay at this site very much where they were very helpful and it was easy to get in good price and I think when I joined the caravan club in the end. Just a really good little site with a beautiful view over the racecourse and were very helpful to me even though I was a late booking. Good facilities and very easy to get into Warwick thanks so much. Possibly my second favourite site. Warwick is so so beautiful.
Small site, near to town, but needs upgrading.
We've stayed at Warwick on several occasions and do like the site however, the site itself does need upgrading. Pitches are mostly grass and many were closed off during our last visit in October. The toilets / showers were spotlessly clean but looking tired. Think the warden was having an off day on our arrival but was more pleasant afterwards. The site can be a little noisy at times from the park behind and the aircraft flying into Birmingham. We were there on race day and were surprised how quiet it was then. 10 minute walk into town and Sainsbury's via the race track.
Warwick stay - some issues
We wanted to see Warwick and surrounding area so we chose this site as it is close to town. On arrival we were made aware of pitch problems by the temporary wardens who appeared quite stressed as many pitches were rutted and waterlogged. There were some hard standing pitches free which we would have preferred but we were told we had booked an awning pitch and therefore had to park on the grass - not ideal in those conditions with a large motorhome. The washrooms badly need upgrading and are poor compared to other club sites although they were kept clean during our stay. Both Warwick and nearby Leamington Spa are well worth visiting the former is a short walk and Leamington a 20 minute bus ride that runs regularly throughout the day. Warwick Castle is a great day out and includes the best falconry display we have seen. All in all a less than satisfying stay, had Warwick and Leamington Spa not been so good we would have left early. Unlikely to return given the poor facilities here.

Weekend in Warwick
Just had another great weekend in Warwick, the site is in such a good location lovely walking for the dog, close to the town centre which is very dog friendly. The locals are so friendly and helpful. Walked to the Fourpenny Hotel Friday evening for a meal excellent food at reasonable price with great staff.
Walked round town on Saturday lots of dog friendly cafes & pubs.
Only downside is you can hear the road noise from the motorway but not enough to keep you awake. The facilities block is dated but kept very clean, shame the hand drier in the ladies doesn't work better.
Once again a lovely site spoiled by selfish members, someone had let their dog mess right by the drinking water tap! We were pitched next to it and as we have a dog felt the need to clean it up just so people didn't think it was us. If you can't look after your dog then you should either not have a dog or not visit club sites, you just give other dog owners a bad name with your selfish acts.
