Posted on 30/07/2019 19:52 by Aitch22Device currently cost £19...and has zero monthly fee. Charges 1.69% on transactions...personally, I'd be happy to pay (say) 5% on top, simply to be able to avoid carrying cash...if sites are aiming to attract the younger generation, increasingly they're 'actively cashless' - as am I.

I can see that others feel differently - but, to my mind, I can see NO downside to Sites (this is not any specific complaint about THB as such...loved the Site) offering card payments alongside cash. If I were offering a service (any service), then I would consider it obvious to make it *as easy as possible to transact with me, by whichever payment means the customer preferred* - ps. Cash isn't king...the customer is! pps. You do realise that our Society will likely be pretty much cashless within a decade? (authorities like to track payments...) ;-)
