All I can say is: Ditto all the reviews here. First visit some years ago when we had fun trying to get out up the hill in thick snow!
Thoroughly enjoyed recent (warmer!) two-day stop in campervan, despite the rain. So green, views so enchanting.
Then of course there's the Lakes.
