What a gem! Views are absolutely spectacular! We stayed on the top field on a grass pitch, I wouldn’t recommend an awning here as it’s so windy. A temporary looking toilet and shower block but super nice inside and lovely hot showers! Nicer than the main block in my opinion. Wardens super friendly and helpful. Walk to the beach certainly isn’t for the feint hearted. We walked it with our 2 elderly dogs and one 42kg dog had to be carried at points on the way back up as it was too steep and slippery for her. Maybe I would walk it again but not with the dogs. You need walking boots, water and stamina! But the beach at the end was beautiful, we even saw a seal in the sea. No shops nearby so make sure you take everything you need. We will 100% return to this site.
