We visited here in Sept '21 (our first time here). We got a pitch on the 2nd tier, behind the front row, which was fine. We found it quite comical that some people are hell bent on getting a front row pitch that overlooks the sea (even moving from their original pitch position) - then spend most their time off site during day time ?? The views are wonderful here, truly spectacular, wherever you're pitched! Staff are lovely, very friendly & helpful. The drive in & approach was OK to this site - decent enough roads, given the county it is in, we never encountered any issues in our Motorhome. Facilities were OK, yes, tired perhaps as some have mentioned, but clean & everything worked OK. Most hard standing pitches we saw were flat, however, I personally wouldn't fancy being on the grass pitches at the top of the site, as the whole field appeared to be on a slope. We did a walk on the coastal path to Boscastle one day, and next day in the opposite direction to Tintagel. Both great places to visit - especially Tintagel, with its wonderful castle ruins and grounds - a must see place. Didn't see much evidence of things for kids to do on site. I'd say this is more of a place for visiting places, and walking. A great site with wonderful scenery around (especially if you do the walks). We will return!
