Stunning Site.
Well maintained quiet site with a well stocked little shop, clean shower block with nice added touches such as gentle music playing, and nice hand lotion in the ladies block (I can't speak for the gents but my husband seemed impressed!!). The children's wash room was very cheerful and even included some fun bath toys which we thought was a lovely idea.
The sea views are simply stunning but the only thing we did not like was the obvious daily "bun fight" to obtain a space next to the sea - indeed it was even affectionately referred to in the site guide as the "Trewethett Tango"! We were fortunate and arrived mid week before main season and got a sea view space, but for the rest of the week as the site filled up we watched the shuffling of 'vans as people tried to edge closer to the cliff edge. As we left we had people actually approaching us to ask if we could save our pitch for them! The site employs a system whereby you are asked to leave your outfit at the main gates on arrival and walk about the site until you find a nice spot and then bag it for yourself by putting a deckchair (or similar item to claim your pitch before going to collect your van) the fact that people start queuing to get through the gate to get a sea view before 12pm only heightened this feeling of angst we are sure! Otherwise a superb site.
