Ok you may have a bit of a walk to the facilities and the portacabin shower block isn’t exactly luxurious, but who cares! It’s the spectacular location and views that gives this site its wow factor and the reason to come here. It was my 2nd visit and this time I went for a very reasonably priced ‘eco pitch’ - who needs mains electricity anyway? It was located on the top of the field offering an uninterrupted spectacular view of the rugged Cornish coastline and Atlantic Ocean - fabulous! The 90min walk into Tintagel along the coast path requires a reasonable level of fitness and agility, but you’ll be rewarded by a great walk. The walk to Boscastle in the opposite direction is a bit easier going and shorter. The Truro - Bude bus service passes by the site entrance. Don’t be put off by some of the grumpy reviews posted about this place, they’re made by people who just don’t get it.
