Fines? How are you going to enforce payment?😄
Sadly, there are irresponsible dog owners amongst us who ignore the rules and advice given in the Dogs on Site leaflet. The wardens will/should act if they know this is going on but they can’t be all seeing which is why we members need to bring these events to their attention at the time it happens.

The cc site we have been on has a dedicated dog walk, and the tent field is next door with signs stating no dogs , which seemed to work for the cc members but did not seem to stop the tenters letting their dogs run free as noted by several when in the designated dog walk, the site staff were aware but as they said unless we see it the owners deny all knowledge

"I realise the non dog owners are vastly outnumbered by dog owners"
Really? I'm not sure how you know that or if it was just your impression. As a dog owner myself I am as aware and appalled as anyone else by the small number of incidents such as you've mentioned, but I have to say, yet again, that I think exaggerated comments such as this just undermine the point being made and have little value in a review. Do you really imagine that folk who disregard the rules on site are going to change their ways because they've read this?

We have complained several times to wardens, particularly regarding dog owners allowing their dogs to run around their pitch and other members pitches. We’ve had our awning urinated on several times (not very nice) The reply we’ve had from several wardens is that it is a contentious issue, does that mean dog owners don’t have to obey the rules???
