Another great visit
This is the second time we have stayed at Trwethet. We have been fortunate that we have had a pitch in the front row both times. Needless to say as a coastal site situated on the top of high cliffs care should be taken if you pitch an awning. We had no problems but then we pitched our awning from the outset with storm guys. The facilities are as we would expect spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water, no queuing problems even though the site was full for the fortnight we were there. The wardens are both friendly and helpful making sure that we had a great time. We have explored the local area there is a lot to do and see. Walking the cliffs is so easy we walked to Boscastle and Tintagel both worth a visit. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs in the area so eating out is easy, you do need to drive. There are good surf beaches nearby but make sure you have local tide tables with you, they are useable over the low water periods only. We will visit the site again it is a very special place. Best Cornish Pasties we have eaten bought from the shop, make sure you order yours early.
