Been to this site every year for the past 6 years (taking a break next year). I was concerned as to how such a large site would handle COVID restrictions but generally, it seemed to work OK. Approx 20% (my survey) of people didn't follow the 'wristband protocol' - either forgetting their bands left on the board or entering without one. Facilities were kept clean and the wardens worked hard to keep us safe with sanitiser points in every location. The shop was completely closed during my stay but given it is a small area, that is understandable. Wardens were generally good-humoured but not as visible as in previous years. Access to facilities is managed by a 'band on board' system but suffers (especially in the morning) by not being more flexible over what part of the shower/toilet room is in use. I have no solution and perhaps the safest option (in terms of segregation) is the one implemented. we used our onboard facilities more & showered at night - it worked for us.
