Brilliant site spotlessly clean well away from the road and both picturesque and peaceful. Only marked down for families because it is a cliff top situation with no easy beach access. Not an issue for us. The wardens are friendly helpful. We'll be back again later

Just perfect

Stayed here recently for two nights. Site wardens really helpful and welcoming. Site is wonderfully situated with breathtaking views out across the sea. The direct access to the south west coast path is a real draw for walkers. There aren't any nearby pubs so go prepared but all in all a real gem.

Wow, on arrival could see what others mean by great views. Met by friendly wardens who made us feel welcome instantly. Was advised to watch weather if putting up an awning. We decided to put up our air awning but after one day realised that being so close to the sea had one disadvantage ( the wind). With regards to site it is fantastic, location is perfect for villages such as Boscastle, Port issac , tintagel and for walkers it has fantastic clifftop walks. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended for peace and quiet, location and site cleanliness. Fantastic and one of the best CC sites.

First time on club site.

This was our first experience of a Caravan Club site the whole experience was good right from booking in and also joining the club due to the helpfulness of the lady on reception to the cleanliness of the site and facilities as for the location that will be hard to beat.

Ideal location

We loved this site, brilliant views over the sea. We stayed Easter weekend 2016 and Storm Katie hit us on the Sunday night so not much sleep due to the storm hitting us full on as on a cliff edge. The toilets/showers were immaculate, the bins were constantly emptied by the warden, no litter anywhere so the site was kept very clean. Didn't much like the booking in process where you have to walk around the site to find a pitch, then one of you stand there while the other goes back to the office to book you in, the weather wasn't great and I was stood on the pitch to reserve it for 15 minutes, and I was freezing and soaking wet by the time my husband got to me with the caravan. Overall, a lovely weekend though and will definitely be back, but will check the weather to make sure no high winds are due next time.

Fantastic views

Only stayed one day and night but.......WOW!!! The views were fantastic the welcome from the staff was warm and the facilities were spotless. The walk along the coastal path was hard but rewarding. The only downside was that there was no pub or restaurant within walking distance so I had to suffer the wife's cooking!! Would I revisit this site? ABSOLUTELY it is a beautiful place to stay with spectacular scenery.

Bedfellow site

Stayed here for four nights over Easter 2016. Excellent location situated 1.5 miles from both Tintagel in one direction and Boscastle the other. Superb views of the coastline. Shower block kept immaculate  Wardens very helpful We have two dogs and the site has a fenced off field for them to have a good run off lead. The weather during this period wasn't great, in fact storm Katie hit us on the Sunday night which didn't allow for a good nights rest. Only reason I haven't given five ticks is due to the booking in procedure. You have to walk around the site to find a suitable pitch and then place an occupied sign ( if you have one ) on the pitch marker. Go back to the site office and then inform them of the pitch number and drive to said pitch.  Not a suitable procedure if the weather is poor. Other than that really enjoyed and will definetley return. Mark and June Plus Harvey and Ella who gIve five woofs

Our windy Easter break

The staff were very welcoming, any little problem they were quick to help. The wind was awful, we had 100mph winds on the cliff, but the van never shook more that a couple of feet!! The toilets and showers were excellent, always very clean, well stocked and warm, a credit to the staff running the site. Bus service stopped outside the campsite, so was very useful. We would certainly stay here again.

Great base for walking local south west coast path

Context: we selected this site as a base to walk the local south west coast path. General feedback: superb views from pitch, extremely warm welcome, spotless facilities with friendly staff. The real highlight for us was the closeness to the south west coast path. Within minutes from our van, we could walk west to Tintagel or east to Boscastle. We did both. Generally moderate walks with fantastic coastal scenery. We cheated on the Boscastle walk by walking out but taking a taxi back after enjoying Boscastle and its culinary delights. Only minor point is perhaps lack of local pubs within a short walking distance, but that was not a concern for us on this occasion. Will certainly visit again.

Fab site

From arriving at this site , I was one happy person. The wardens were very friendly , the shop is well stocked with fresh home made pasties and scones , the pitches are well placed and have fantastic views. Shower block spotless and warm . If you are a walker , you can plan routes from the site or take a bus in either direction of the coastal path and do short , medium or long linear walks. I would definitely stay her again
