The site is situated in a large beautiful park and the National Trust house is definitely worth a visit. As expected the site itself is very well run and the facilities immaculate. However, the number of male showers and toilets seemed to few since I had to queue  twice for a toilet in four days. If you are troubled by traffic noise then be warned that there is continuous noise day and night.  If you like shopping in Asda there is one next door! We had never been to Newport before and were a little disappointed in what it has to offer.
