Our Welsh island :)

Had our first stay at this Club site in Wales, the Wardens were friendly and helpfull , when we arrived only 3 spaces left so felt like we had to pick from the leftovers , but we ended up on a nice little grass pitch number 20 on a C bend of road and in fact we felt in the end it was our little island in Wales , the pitches are bit hard to reverse onto with a caravan as tight but ideal for motorhomes , a rally turned up at the end of the week and surrounded us but they didn't bother us in fact we watched them have there tea urn and presentations , road noise was no problem and we where near it compared to pitches further down by the office for example , there is a little herb garden by the office free to pick , we had mint on our welsh potatoes the wifi was as normal at all sites hit and miss and annoying if you paid for the week The house we never went in but walked around the park that was nice , be nice if the caravan site users had a discount on entry to house as we staying on the site We used the park and ride East to get into Cardiff was so easy the only annoying bit is the roadworks on roundabout we had to face everyday to get anywhere , but the improvements there doing look like will be very good .. the nearest beach is about 13 to 15 miles away we drove to there and we drove to Barry Island as well and Newport , if you return after 8pm the main gates are closed but you have a key for the padlock then some more wooden gates to open near site then the electronic barriers , but we didnt l, one club site we visited had no gates or barriers at all in Norfolk ! Asda is nearby for all your needs it even has a mcdonalds inside the store , we stayed a week and became very settled Colin and Amanda
