very nice friendly staff, one of the advantages we like about this site is that you get to choose your own pitch, (its so annoying on sites that tell you where your pitch is), We had NO problem with TV or mobile phone reception at all. One of the downsides of this site is the pitches for awnings are very very hard standing, we bent our hard ground pegs and the awning carpet didn't make much difference on the horrible large hard gravel, it was terrible to walk on.. we go on other (none club sites) that are hard standing and it is rubber matting under grass which is a lot better. The shop isn't very good but there is an Asda with a McDonalds inside, just off the site. There is also a lot of road noise day and night but the staff can't do anything about that. The gate to the park is locked at 8.30pm but you get a key for the padlock. The toilets are closed for cleaning in the morning which we found really odd as a lot of people use the showers/toilets in the morning, afternoon would be better. The site is in a very good location for both Cardiff and Newport, we have stayed here a few times when we visit friends and would definitely return.
