Lovely site on the edge of town

I stayed here for one night during a working photography trip to Newport and Cardiff. I wished I could have stayed longer. The location is lovely, set in parkland by the National Trust property Tredegar House. The team were friendly and welcoming and explained the COVID-19 changes very clearly. There was a little bit of traffic noise but that's inevitable given its location. The park is still peaceful but it's not a rural retreat where all you hear is wind and birdsong. You need to be further away from the city for that. Having really enjoyed my one night at the Baltic Wharf site in Bristol last year, I'm now a fan of these well-appointed urban parks.
