Lovely Site In National Trust Park

We are regular visitors to Tredegar Park. We find that both wardens and assistants are always welcoming on arrival and happy to help if required. We accept that the toilet block, particularly the floors are getting tired but the block are always clean and tidy. A refurb is apparently imminent that will solve these issues. I noted a previous poster complained because access was forbidden after 8pm when the park gates are locked. Granted getting in and out after 8pm is a chore but it greatly improves security. I believe that this is a rule imposed by the National Trust. The warden clearly has to abide by this rule even though it’s clearly a pain if anybody arrives late. The Park and lakes are in a beautiful setting with acres to exercise dogs and there is a play park for children. There is a little traffic noise but not that obtrusive in my opinion. There is a large Asda within easy walking distance for supplies.
