Lovely site
We recently spent 4 nights here. We thought the site was very good. The Assistant Wardens were very friendly & helpful. ( We didn't come into contact with the Wardens.). It is a very clean, well kept site. The flowers were very attractive & colourful.
We enjoyed tours around the house as NT members it is free. We Cycled to Newport to explore the Transporter Bridge, the town & the canal centre. It is also an easy walk to Asda, so no need to drive out. Buses are available nearby to Cardiff & Newport.
