This is our second visit to the site and we are still just as happy as the first time. It is easy to reach just off the motorway but you do need to make sure you get in the right lane as shown in the directions on the slip road. The site is set on a gentle hillside and is one of the best landscaped club sites for us, with plenty of service points. There is noise from a busy road just over the boundary wall though, but it did not bother us, it is certainly not as bad as the earlier review and the television reception was reasonable. The room with brochures for the area was sadly short of local attractions with most brochures for things rather too remote, so do your homework before you go. The house is very good and the grounds make a useful stroll but the exterior of the house is covered in protective sheeting for renovation work at the moment. I would add the Royal Mint to the attractions shown in the handbook.There is an Asda store within walking distance for food and cheap fuel. The wardens were exceptionally friendly.
