We visited Tredegar House as it was the closest site when we picked up our new caravan. It is set in the grounds of a lovely Stately Home (although under going extensive refurbishment & covered in scaffolding at the time we visited). The grounds of the house are very good for dog walking & children. Tredegar House is open to view (National Trust) with a few nice shops & a cafe. The site wardens where very pleasant & friendly. The site is close to the M4 with the associated road noise, but this didn't disturb 2 good nights sleep. Great spot for visiting Newport, Cardiff & the Valley's.
