Good location off the M4 on entry into Wales

Stayed at this site in August for 5 days and enjoyed the stay. Made use of one of the few grass pitches available to pitch the caravan and awning. The site is not large and is more or less on two levels. The site is pleasant but there is some traffic noise. Acess is gained to the site through the grounds of Tredegar House and this can cause a problem if you get back to the site after 8.00 p.m in the dark as the lock on the access gates needs to be opened. The site is handily located just off the M4 motorway as you enter Wales and you could visit Newport, Abergavenny and the Wye Valley,as well as Cardiff, from here. There is a large Asda supermarket quite close to the site and a good walk takes you to a pub/restaurant. Would visit this site again.
