This was our first stay at this site and one we had wanted to visit for some time as we wanted to visit Tredegar House (NT) and also Newport Wetlands (RSPB). We did however win muppets of the year award as we were coming from Abergavenny and set off for Tredegar well we will gloss over that we realised our error and headed off in the right direction!! Lovely site facilties clean but i believe are to be updated which to be fair is probably due as its such a popular site. Good greeting from warden. The Tredegar House is very interesting and the grounds are lovely. Unfortunately for us there are major roadworks near the site and we struggled going to the RSPB but this is no way a reflection on the site just our inexperience in such busy road situations.
