We had a lovely 4 nights here during Feb half term with our 3 kids, site was well placed for Cardiff and the wide variety of tourist sites to see. Castle Coch and Caerphilly Castle is a one day trip, we then spent a day in Cardiff at Techniquest and Cardiff Bay. The Royal Mint was fantastic and kept our 3 entertained. The site was clean and facilities were spotless, there is road noise but not enough to put you off going there. Tredegar House was closed as being refurbished but the park has a few good walks around it and there is a decent playground. All in all a great trip and easily accessible from the M4 once you work out the roundabouts!
