The site at Tredegar house is perfectly located for visiting Cardiff whilst it's M4 proximity means we were also able to quickly access both Caerleon and Caldicot castle (a lovely free day out) and St Fagans (another great free day out). The site itself is clean, quiet and the wardens were excellent - personally checking on the safe storage of our bikes. We were pleased to find that we were able to choose our own pitch, although on our next visit we may choose one slightly further away from the busy road that is the other side of the hedge. Everyone we met was polite, friendly and clearly enjoying the beautiful location. Tredegar house is a stunning national trust property and well worth visiting! We were also pleased that, although ball games were not permitted on the caravan site, we had easy access to the parkland which included space for ball games as well as a small park.  This is an excellent caravan club site that we will definitely be returning to!
