This was our very first caravan trip in our new Sprite van, and it is just down the round from our house. So easy to drive to even if you have a really big van and clearly signposted, which is important when you are worried about roads being wide enough for you. Nice welcome at office, and they allowed us to chose our site, but I asked for their recommendation of the easiest to access pitch being newbies at this! (upgraded from a tent). They provided a site map and recommended which pitches would be easiest to reverse into. Lovely large hard standing pitch, and plenty of room for the car and awning. One toilet / shower block on site (with 3 or 4 toilets etc), which was clean and had plentiful hot water for our shower the following morning. Only negative is that the toilets were closed for cleaning between 10.30am - 11.30am the day we were leaving, so make sure you are not caught short! Maybe this time slot should be 11.30am - 12.30pm instead? You have to leave the site at 12 noon. The one thing that I made it so appealing to me, was the NO BALL GAMES allowed on site. So I didn't get disturbed by some ball being hit, kicked or bounced off our van. Recommend the site, and will use again in the future, probably yearly after our van service to check all is working.
