Nice site

Spent a week at this pretty site, despite the weather (we had one dry day!) we managed to get out and about enjoying Perranporth, Newquay and surrounding area.  The site wardens did not intrude though I was disappointed to be told that it was too much trouble to offer daily newspapers and we could walk up the hill to the other site if we wanted them. Facilities clean but there always seemed to be puddles on the floor in an area where there wasn't any water!   Site is well laid out lots of levels and some very uneven pitches (well there would be in a valley!).  When we arrived we were advised not to go low as it was very wet and we couldnt be towed if we got stuck.  With the weather forecast for our stay being wet and gales we chose a sheltered pitch (110) which was big but we felt isolated, we prefer to be amongst other campers to enjoy some friendly banter and meet new friends. Having said all this we had an enjoyable week despite the weather and would consider the site again if in the area.
